A1 13 1 V1 TWHIES C ixeal Cllofzus During a time when cokes are being sacrificed for defense stamps, culture should not be neglected, and the lackson l-ligh School Chorus, directed by Miss Ruth l-lallenberg, certainly upheld the artistic ideals ot our school during this year. The chorus presented several successful concerts including, the Christmas Concert, the Music Festival, the Armistice Day program, and their annual Spring Concert. The mixed chorus is a combination of the Boy's and Girls chorus, and from these smaller groups were organized, such as the Boys' Quartet and the Crirls' Triple Trio. The choral groups, under Miss Hallenbergs direction, have shown a Steady improvement during the three years she has been with us. This year's choral groups were probably some of the best that have represented Iackson in some time. 'A' BACK ROW: R. Strom, Halsrud. Lee, C. Hansen, D.
