FRLSHMAN CLASS On September 10, thirty six freshmen came up the hill to Jackson High School Hom dignified it felt to be high school students' How different from Grammar school' The sophomores, howevei soon made them lo e mo t of their surplus dignity We ws ere entertained on our llllfldllljll nignt by the uppel cla smen and about a month later me gave a return party which xx as enjoyed bv evervone lllg officers were elected Donald Cox, president Dorothy Head, vice presi dent, Bessie Churlch, secretary and Samuel Ianni treasurer For the second semester the following officers were elected Milton Dalo, president, Wayne Hlserman vice president Amiel Vickers secretary, and Mitchell Soso tleasurer We did xery vsell under our two presidents, Donald Cox and Milton Dalo, and with the help of our adviser, Miss Doolmg The fleshmen have gone out for all school activities, including sports contests, and dramatics Vlfe secured the wood for the honfile before the Big Came, and we also procured the Christmas tree for the Christmas Party We showed our spirit by being the first ones to win the banner in the class contest, and have put on two assembly programs This concludes our history a freshmen As sophomores Watch us' DONALD Cox 33 8 . 3 3? -vw 1 , E t I l l g ' ' . 5 . SOPHOMORE CLASS The present sophomore class or the Class of 32 entered the Jackson Hlgh School ln September 1928 We all had our fears about the 1n1t1at1on but It passed by wlthout any mlshaps Our class was then ready to settle down to hard work and cooperatlon The first notable thmg that we d1d was to glVC a really successful Freshmen Return Party on November 2 We next got IH and Worked hard to Wm the school banner As a result we got our numeral 32 put on It ln felt letters My but We felt proud to thlnk we plaque ln the Efliclency Contest at commencement We also started the movement to put a J on Butte Mountaln but as It proved too large a task for our class the Whole school cooperated and started work on lt backed by the freshmen class the sophs of today June came around and the frrst thlng we knew we were sophomores' Eleven sophomores took part ln Dramatlcs Nlght plays Mld year we agaln Won the efficlency banner We gave our Sophomore Hop on February 28 a Ralnbow Electrlcal Ball We hope that all our future actlvltles Wlll be as successful The sophomore edltlon of the Butte appeared March 7 and Chlsplta was glven by the Spamsh Il class the same evenlng We put on our assembly program May 2 Mr Allmger was class advlser Everythlng that the Jackson Hlgh School has attempted the sophomores have to the fullest extent backed and our cooperatlon Wlll be contlnued MYRTLE NETTI E 32 17 c Y I l u s I , I 2 , 1 I . 1 ' ' ' 9 . . . , C5 97 ' ' ' 7 7 could get it!
