Donald Reed and Delorls Steele but galned two new members Loms Foltz and Rlchard Shuck Mr George was chosen as our class sponsor for the year wxtn the followmg class off1cers Presldent Dlck Myers Vxce Presldent June Drummer Secretary Jlm Smlth Treasurer Kathleen Funk Reporter Merrxll Harmon Our class rxngs came the flrst week of our Jumor year' There were many ln terestlng actlvxtles thls year Sellmg Chrlstmas cards and refreshments at the basketball games proved our abxhty as salesmen We enjoyed especlally glvmg our Jumor class play The Real Mr McCoy Never shall we forget the banquet gxven by us ln honor of the Semors After the banquet whose theme was Stardust we went to Fmdlay to a movze and then came back to the schoolhouse for a dance September 1951 at last we have become Semors' There are now twenty three members xn our group Patty Thatcher was marrzed durmg the summer and George Hafferkamp met wxth a tragxc automobxle accldent We elected Mr Sxdebotham as our class sponsor and the followxng class offlcers Presldent Merrxll Harmon Vxce President Lols Foltz Secretary Treasurer Rxchard Shuck Reporter Mary Leatherman Thxs year 15 xndeed a busy one Publxshmg the school paper and annual are two tremendous tasks ln themselves There IS the class play the sprmg banquet baccalaureate and commencement and then Jackson Hlgh ceases to be an actualxty but lxves omy 1n our hearts and memorxes Now our school days m Jackson Hxgh are fmxshed but always her teachmgs and mfluence wlll be a part of us as we go our separate ways' May we ever do her justice! . . - . .
