In 1959-60, the A Cappella Choir provided pleasure for J.J.C. students in such events as the Thanks- giving assembly, Christmas assembly, and the annual Spring Concert.

The list includes mak- ing up Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for the needy, sponsoring an open house, and participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Drive. With the proceeds from its candy sales and other money-making activities, the sorority planned to spend a week at one of the many lakes in this area. The Pan-Hellenic council is the coordinat- ing body of the two sororities. The council sponsored a semi-formal ball in the first se- mester. Also, the council helped choose the recipient of the Pan-Hellenic Award.
