YOUTH IN GOVERN- MENT Youth in Government was designed to increase student knowledge of the mechanics of state govern- ment. A part of the group activities involved writing and debating legislative bills. Members again attended the Youth Legisla- ture in Nashville: there bills were presented and debated, and students cam- paigned for various posi- tions in state government.
