TOEC The Tennessee Office Education Club at JC-M continued to explore availa- ble employment opportuni- ties in office work and to prepare its students to suc- cessfully compete for those openings. Field trips and other activities increased the knowledge of the group. The club social calendar was highlighted by the annual Open House for prospective members. On Veteran's Day the club rec- ognized JC-M faculty mem- bers who had served in the armed forces. These students participated in events throughout the area. Sabrina Comer, Kathy Whitehead. Darryl Mont- gomery and Sid Scott repre- sented .IC-M in the Green- brier QTNJ Tournament in November. They along with Marvis Hicks. .lunnie Springfield, Ronald Bass. and James Long competed in the Lambuth Fine Arts Tournament in February. All district and state events were sponsored by the Ten- nessee State Speech and Drama League of which JC- M is a member. The Debate Team was coached by Mrs. Sue Long.
