LIBRARY AIDES Without the assistance of the Library Aides, JC-M's two libraries would be una- ble to operate efficiently. These students helped Mrs. Boone and Mrs. Davis in every aspect of library work. Checking books in and out, maintaining over- due lists, processing new books and magazines, fil- ing, and making sure the card catalogue was up to date were among the duties performed. The Aides also prepared bulletin board dis- plays which made the libraries and study halls more attractive places in which to work. Activities X l47
