Under the leadership of Mrs. Hiatt, the 4-H club members beqin in the sprinq and spend the summer working on various projects. ln the fall, the results ot their efforts are displayed and graded. Some become eligible to display their projects at the State Fair. There are many other rewards available to ambitious 4-H members. There are oportunities to attend 4-H Camps, Round-up at Purdue, Iunior Leaders Conference, and State Fair School.

FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA Cne of the main units of the Vocational Agricultural Department is the F. F. A. Officers of this organization during l95U-5l are: Francis Baitz, Presi- dentg lohnny Bowser, Vice Presidenty lohn McClintock, Secretary, Robert Whisman, Treasurer, David Pickett, Reporter: Neal Whisr'nan, Sentinel. The Chapter's largest project was organizing a trip for all members to the ln- ternational Livestock Show at Chicago. Money for this trip was obtained by selling Christmas paid half on the F. F. A. Program also sponsor the Iunior Rifle Club tours were taken cards and having a waste-paper drive. The chapter also new members F. F. A. jackets. Another high-light in the was the Annual Father-Son Banquet. The Future Farmers lackson Agricultural 4-H Club and the lackson F. P. A. which is nationally affiliated. Two important field trips or during the year by all members: the Purdue lunior Swine and Crops Day at Lafayette and the Hamilton County Livestock and Meat Caravan.
