PREDICTIONS FOR In the Spring of 1956 me were taking a trip through the United States Stopping at Indianapolis we decided to attend the show at the Circle Theater Imagine our surprise when vue found that Bettie Fetty was a featured singer with Kay Kysers orchestra' Deciding to have a little fun we stopped at Riverside and who should me find as managers of a skating rink but Mary XVorthman and Rachael Mayfield Looking across the vi ay we thought we saw a familiar face Who should it be but Cub Overdorf managing the Cm 3 Home Leaving Indianapolis me started South When vue landed in Texas we had a few days layover so we visited Bob Hiller s ranch and who should we meet there but jack Melling who was on vacation Souvenir hunting vue met Carolyn Sandman vs ho is now the ovsner of a large dime store in El Paso Her bookkeeper and assistant was none other than Alberta Conavu ay Flying on tovs ard California vue landed for a fem minutes in New Mexico There we saw Mary Alice Warfel buying more Indian bracelets At Santa Fe ue changed planes Our new pilot vias Paul Smith md our air hostess was Frieda Sexton Flymg low over Alcatraz vue savs Charles Vornbrock escaping Hollywood Beach vse saw Annabelle Lee and Phyllis Ackles both beautiful bathing beauties Our pilot getting excited lost control of the plane and we crashed When vue came to we were riding in an ambulance vsith Skinny Beaver driving and Constance Williams the nurse Arriving at the hospital vie found Pat Dunn as the dietician Leaving the hospital who should we meet but two more of our old classmates Luciena Ross and Sherrie Ricketts who are stationed at the WAVE base in San Fr lncisco Tr lveling on through the eity we were glad to meet Evelyn Widows who was spending her vacation with relatives After final repairs were made on the plane we started back North Flying low over Boise we dipped our wings in salute to Mxrdelle Smeltzer McBane who was trying to keep tab on her husband We stopped in Michigan to see Ivalou Kellam and her tulip farm While in Detroit we dropped in on Ruth Botu who is playing her French horn in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra At Briggs Stadium we found Edith Harrison playing on a pro fessional All Girls baseball team She had just hit Viola Hunter on the head with a foul ball Judy Craig was the official score keeper CThey finally taught her how to count'J She told us that Jeannie Bell was operating a lube Lzglzteen .
