BEVINGTON English Social Studies MILES HOOPENGARDNER Driver's Training E IOR CLASS PROPHECY Here we are in the year of 1968 taking a pleasure ride in our manned satellite. As we are leaving Fort Wayne, we see 1, 000 acres of ground where the new chemical plant is located. As we inquire about the new plant we learn that Judy fDurnilj is secretary to her husband, Dewey Zent, who is manager of the plant. As we fly over Indianapolis, we see Donald Jones and his wife, Patty fGearheartJ, who is working as his secretary. Donald has just been elected governor of the state, and we also learn that this is Donald's first change of being in politics. Farther west over South Dakota we see Dale S. and Sharon's Uonesj big wheat farm where their 6 children seem to be a lot of help. In Colorado we find Lyle Cloud and Dan Dawson competing against each other in the Pikes Peak Road Race. Carol Gilbert, a film star, will present the winner of the race with a trophy and a big sentimental kiss. Next we sail over Hollywood where we see the new T. V. comedy sensation with Dave S. and Jackie fstrodel as the stars, While we are still over California, we see part of the Olympic games. As we are watching them, we see Jim Roush rtmning the 220 yard dash. As Jim ls finishing, the annotmcer states that he had just set a new record. We learn the secret of Iim's success when we talk with his wife, Bonita QBllnnJ. She tells us that she feeds him Cheerios for go-power. While still roaming around, we hear the muscle man of the 58 class, who was Robert McCord has just thrown the shot put for a record distance. As he completes the throw, we see him being congratulated by his wife, the former Linds Meyers. lt seems as if that when the class of 58 started to do anything they did it in a big way, As we sail on out over the Pacific and to the Hawaiian Islands, we see that the biggest Pineapple Cor- poration is being managed by the McMillan brothers, we also learn that the former Shirley Bell is Claire's wife and the former Dixie Palmer is Claude's wife. Down in Australia we find Clarence and his wife, Louise fl-lowelll trying to make a success at their Kangaroo ranch. It seems they are having some difficulty keeping their Kangaroos inside the ranch. As we go on from Australia to Turkey, we find Harold Runkle and his wife, the former Mary Spiker, working on secret experiments - trying to discover a rocket fuel. From here we head for home and in no time at all we are across the Atlantic and in the good ole U. S. A. Soon we are making preparations to land at Marion, Indiana. In Marion we learn that Jerry Zoda and his wife, Donna 1FoustJ, are making a big success running the Municipal Junk Yard. lt seems that Donna finally hooked Jerry into marriage. This seems to be a pretty good business with all the traffic and juvenile drivers. Huh Ierry??? -while in Marion we find out from Jerry that Ronnie P. and his wife, len- nie fBakery, have taken the first chance to go to the moon and to find out what's up there and to see if they or anyone else can live there. Well Good Luck kids. All in all it seems as if the class of 58 have gotten their wishes fulfilled and are making a success of themselves. v ,ixgkrl ,msg 3 x 9'- A J -1-4: ' In Ill lm mm mln is ,mi Mm 'N has ls i E IOR CLASS WILL We, the Senior class of 1958, hereby will the following attributes to the following people.
