Class Poem The time has come for us to leave Our dear old Jackson High, The school which we have learned to love In the good old days gone by. The time has come for us to part, Each to go his chosen way, And on life's road he does start, To reach his victory day by day. We've worked together hard and long, Twelve years spent here have we, Till alas, we've reached our goal And won the victory. We thank our teachers and parents too For all they've done for us. To help us through all the strife To thank them, we feel we must. Now as we leave dear Jackson High To all we say-so-long . We will look back with a tear and sigh As life's way we travel on. Those representing our class on the scholarship teams were: Rita Heintz, Tom Boyer, Charles Rose, Shirley Glett, Phyllis Miller, Anna Mae Peterson, and Phyllis Kies. There were thirteen boys and girls who had gone through all twelve grades together. They are: Charles Allinger, Shirley Glett, Billy Hagelberger, Rita Heintz, Phyllis Kies, Janet Lenhart, Marjorie Painter, Raymond Regula, Velma Regula, Charles Rose, Richard Kies, lvan Zorn, and Marvin Zwiebel . by--hhriorie Painter Class Will Be it remembered that we, the class of l953, being of sound mind and memory, but knowing the uncertainity of this' life, do make our last will and testament. After payment of all our debts and funeral charges, we give, bequeath, and devise cs follows: To the teachers, we leave peace in the school or the school in pieces. To the freshman class, we will our bright ideas. To the sophomore class, we will our ability to argue among ourselves.
