Sud and Kay haye been yery fortunate to have two wonderful chlldren lhelr son Brady and h1s wnfe Shannon haye one lxttle glrl SYDNEY fnote that name! 4 years old and are expectmg another g1rl IH late November Thelr daughter Stephanle and her husband Day 1d Lackey also haye a beautlful llttle 16 month old gtrl Cecetshort for Cec1l1a whlch by the way IS Kav s flrst name Std and Kav had been blessed wlth good health but Std d1d travel to Sturgls SD ln May 1996 and back a total of 6000 m1les on h1s Harley and had a wreck 17 m1les from home He had an awful road rash and a broken collar bone but IS st1ll ahve That same 'Vlay Kay dlscovered a lump m her left breast whlch was mallgnant She underwent a radlcal mastectomy and reconstructlon ln July 1996 and underwent chemotherapy from Rug through Oct She has been cancer free for three years Sld dectded he hadn t had enough rndmg on a motorcvcle so he got another Harley and took ofT for the Kevs last Laster 1998 Thls time he was trvmg to get on the Interstate from a rest area and hlt a rough edge of pavement and lost control of the blke Lucklly he sl1d on the ground and the blke fllpped up m the anr and dldn t land on hlm So now S1d has declared no more motorcvcles he s golng to be around to see these 3 ltttle granddaughters grow up Smce S1d and Kay were only workmg pan tlme they began a catermg busmess wnth thelr a huge smoker made 1n Texas by the way and they cater golf toumaments rehearsal dmners Chrlstmas partles etc The1rspec1alt1es are smoked brtsket ham rlbs etc and iced brownles Kay s dad Rusty Porter dxed 1n Aprll 1985 ofa heart attack Her mom Lots Porter dled at age 52 Jan 1971 ofemphysema Sld s dad Dean Freeman dled 1n Dec 1985 of a heart attack Std s Mom Mlldred llves 1n Dallas ln an asslsted l1v1ng apartment Std s vounger brothers Larry and Dannv l1ve m Ft Worth and Dallas respectxyely Kay s slster Carolyn Robmson lxves ln Houston and her brother Grant llves tn Rlchland Htlls TX worktng as a CPA for Bell Hellcopter Std and Kay lxye 1n beautlful South Carolma close to Atlanta North Carolma the Smokles and 5 hours from Myrtle Beach SC They spend about 90 days a year at the1r beach house They suggest a 50 year reumon ID Myrtle Beach There s muslc shows and oy er 100 golfcourses Or how about a crulse for the 50 vear reumon for the 1959 graduatmg classq .A Ya 1 ki 1 b Q ' . . x y I I , l Q 7 L ...
