With a strong faith in the values ot education, the Board has spent many hours in planning tor the construction of needed facilities and the development of an educational program which is responsive to the needs of the children. Members ot this Board are unseltishly dedicated to all those things which make tor an outstanding school system and community. Kb f Under the expert guidance of our principal, Mr. Don Smith, the stu- dents and faculty of Jacksboro High School have been able to work together harmoniously. He has many great responsibilities that require patience, co-operation, and tact. His striking personality and friendly manner have inspired the students to accomplish high goals. He is admired by all who come into contact with him. His authority on varied subiects and the impartial manner in which he deals with different matters are known and respected by all. Mr. Smith is friendly to everyone, and he is always willing to help and give advice whenever he can. These traits have made him a favorite of many. Jacksboro High School is very fortunate indeed to have Mr. Smith for its principal, and the community is also fortunate to have him for a citizen and friend. He will long remain a part of our high school mem- ories.
