Zke Principal ' s Message It gives me profound pleasure to bring greetings from the principal’s desk. The efforts of the Class of 1968 in producing this yearbook signal the closing months leading to graduation. In all aspects, you seemingly have developed intellectual and spiritual leadership which is essential in such a world as ours today. Without leaders of such capacity, the bountiful resources of our nation will be frittered away. We here at J. T. Barber High School are excep¬ tionally proud of your accomplishments. You exhibit on these pages a brief, but sufficient account of your contributions, in hope that they will inspire those who follow you. However, you must remember that in order to reach any worthwhile destination, a goal must first be set. In all cases, this goal will not be attainable, but as your theme suggests, it can serve as a guide which can result in success and prosperity.
