We learn where the pieces go - how mathe and science, the classics and good government fit into God ' s plan for happiness on earth and in heaven. 6 (Tlacced The boys with whom we’ve prayed and worked, played and studied, with whom we competed, with whom we became men. Paye 2 Oxacutifotcouc,- s4ett€uUe Active is the word for our days at Barber, putting into practice what we learned in the classroom; putting our free time to constructive use. Paye 2 Studcutc Academic courses stimulate our intellects. In this age of space, we find the sciences and mathe challenging and interesting. The social studies strengthen our understanding of national and inter¬ national problems and languages brighten our life. Paye 32 4tytlettc Our teams are known throughout the city and through out the state for their ruggedness, for their sports¬ manship. Our fans are known for their enthusiasm, for their support. Paye 62 cCocnti emeutC- Patrons and advertisers - without whom this year¬ book would have been impossible. P zye 76 2 Quadratic equations, honor roll, Caesar ' s battles, dances, standing-in-line, homework . . . it ' s a puzzle and where do we go from here - to a bigger puzzle: to atom bombs and segregation, to write - to work an income tax, to sput¬ niks and the United Nations - to the problems of a frantic world. The hectic events of our high school days somehow did fit together. Our parents, our pastors, our teachers showed us design in the turmoil - the design of the Creator made known through His church. These pages record how a portion of the puzzle fits together - the important little pieces. With God’s help, the bigger pieces will fit together also. 3 4 RJ J 1 ] staw GCP- G p ' vO A O e ' . A A .
