To the faculty, who guided us through our school y ears, we wish to extend our thanks for your con¬ stant encouragement as we prepared for future careers in life. To the Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen, we leave the use of our new school, from which we were fortunate enough to become the first graduates. Thelma Foye wills her personality to her friend, Alvania Griffin. Dolly White wills her seat in the senior class to her cousin, Virginia Richardson and her height to Goldie Guion. Eugenia Hickman wills her personality to her brother, Marvin, and her seat in the senior class to Mary Brown. Laura Armstrong wills her seat in the senior class to Elbert Coleman. Charles Spivey wills his seat in the senior class to anyone who can fill it. Matilda Jones wills her seat in the senior class to Earnest Spicer. Barbara Best wills her position on the basketball team to her sister, Joyce. Hattie Taylor wills to Viola Gibbs her seat in the senior class. Doris Hicks wills her pleasing personality to her niece, Lovie Forbes, and her seat in the senior class to her brother, Daley Hicks. Christopher Simmons wills his fullback position on the football team to Alphonso Moore. Shirley Mattocks wills her seat in the senior class to her sisters, Mary and Edith. Edna Simmons bequeaths to William Murphy a motor boat to cross the river. Estella Murphy wills her ability to finish high school to her sister, Carolyn. Fannie Spellman wills her seat in the senior class to Thelma Forbes. Alexander Scott wills his position in the Glee Club to anyone who can merit it. Edward Mendes wills his personality to William Wilson and sensibility to Nathaniel Simmons. Annie Daniels wills her bow legs to her cousin, Gertrude Daniels, and her seat in the senior class to her brother, Fred. Flora Madison wills her seat in the Drama Guild to Lillie Ruth Coleman, and her seat in the senior class to Mamie Cry. Dorothy Harvey wills her ability to get along with others to her sister, Hilda Harvey. Albert Hukins wills to James Blake his ability to attend school regularly. Doris Loften wills her dramatic ability to Dorothy Nelson; and her seat in the senior class to Jessie Henry. Shirley Riggs wills her dancing ability to Rebecca White, and her personality to Iris Hicks. Ellen Pugh wills her glamorous eyes to Ruth Ann Mumford, and her seat in the senior class to Janet White. Audrey Humphrey wills her position as library assistant to her cousin, Carolyn Marie Webb. Philip Wiggins wills his seat in the senior class to Walter Bellamy, his athletic ability to Earl Wiggins, and his height to Orcee Pickett. Janey Meadows wills her slimness to Ruby Staten and her personality to her cousin, Ferney Hargett. Shirley Chapman wills her ability to get along with others to Goldie Guion and her seat in the senior class to Edward G. Bell. Eleanor Banks leaves her scholastic ability to her brother, Leon. Earnest Bennett wills his ability to be well dressed to Able Stevens. Betty Smith wills her scholastic ability to her sister, Mary Smith, and to Janicesteen Phillips, her knowledge of chemistry.
