Inex erience, injuries hinder JV's season Ilespite the losses of the first three games of the season, the varsity haskethall team tied for fifth place with an overall record of seven wins and eleven losses. The girls worked hard to attain their aehieved goals, said Coach Terry Kulp. The team made the regional finals and then lost to Hinsdale South at the state tournament for the second year in a row. Several workshops were offered to the team this year. The entire team competed in the Proviso East Summer League. and Laura Grisafe. Denise llohueli, Sharon Cizek, and Sue Jansky attended the Indiana Hoosier Camp. Besides the lack of experience on the dominantly freshman JV team, two main players, Sharon Cizek and Sue Jansky, were out part of the season with injuries, According to Coach Ruth Hapae.
