Bands, orchestra make difference in MD X Rx - far -4.32 it X Tag Tx ,N :,h . ,.1: I have been playing violin for seven years, and the music we play for concerts is really challenging, said Barbara Kapsa, an orchestra member. Music filled the minds of many Morton West' students. The proof was a wide range of talented musicians performing in band and orchestra. MD, as the Music Depart- ment's patrons affectionately refer to it, consisted of a variety of perform- ing units. The marching band parad- ed at homecoming and during football halftimes. The concert band consist- ed of top students selected according to their ability. Both West and East musicians participated in the district-wide orchestra.
