The University of Wyoming awarded Varsity Captain Sherri Vohaska an athletic scholarship, the first such award ever received by a Morton girl. At the district meet, Vohaska finished in sixth place as did Missey Burney. The frosh-soph team closed the season with a one and four record. After cutting a one hundred and eight pin deficit to nineteen pins at the district finals, the members of the girls' bowling team lost a heartbreaking match to St., Benedict.
