Crchestra Accompanies Christmas Choral Music Morton's bands provided music for many school and community functions. They per- formed for four football games, six basketball games, four assemblies, and the homecoming parade. They also played for the Houby Day Parade and delighted area civic organizations on several occasions. According to band director Mr. J. Frantik, Much of our job is school ser- vice orientedf' The choral program suffered from an insufficient amount of male voices. Hour conflicts between choral and other courses forced some male students to drop choir. The orchestra presented two concerts as well as providing musicians for the Morton Chamber l , f Orchestra. It also supplied accompanists for ' parts of the Christmas choral concert. X W5 Marching band members work hours to perfect their coordination. Tom Masschelin and Lance Malina fabove, leftj practice marching. Lisa Boyd fleftl concentrates on the playing of a difficult symphony piece in preparation for the February orchestra concert.
