i Girls Assist at Meets As Aid Group Members Girls who were interested in boys' sports as more than just spectators were those involved in one of the three aid groups. The Track Aids assisted the officials who conducted all indoor and outdoor track meets. They timed field events, recorded scores, and announced the results. This year the Track Aids participated in the homecoming parade by entering a car. At all the home swim meets, it was the Swim Maids' job to back up timists for the touch pads, to keep times and scores, and to post times. They raised money by selling candy, programs, and refreshments at all home meets. In addition to their usual responsibilities of keeping score and recording the results, the Wrestling Aids raised money for their wrestling banquet by getting students to sponsor a wrestler for each take down scored against an opponent. l 'guy H T iff!
