Three Varsity Members Place on All-Conference Morton's varsity baseball team completed another season under Head Coach J. Kraus. In conference play the squad won nine and lost five to place third. Three players made the DPVL all-conference team: Phil Colonero, outfielder, Jeff Zitek, in- fielderg and Tim Feeney, pitcher. ln their lowest finish in eleven years, the sophomores finished fourth. Lacking defense, the team lost many one run decisions and ended the season with seven wins and ten losses. Demonstrating good ability, the freshmen's conference record was ten wins and four losses. The team placed second in the Des Plaines Valley League. Rounding third trying to stretch his hit, Glen Minarcik Qrightj pours it on as he heads for home.
