Modern Dancers Create With Music, Other Arts Besides conveying emotions through the use of music, Modern Dance Club members used forms of art, posters, and poems in putting their creativity to work. The club members composed a modern dance show and held a dance day on which a professional dancer lectured and demonstrated many new dance techniques and forms for the dance-minded students. Developing skills in floor exercises, tumbl- ing, and apparatus was the objective of the Gymnastics Club supervised by Ms. F. Hartley. The club members performed for parents at the PTO night in October. They also planned two clinics and held a summer session to make gym- nastics a year round activity. MODERN DANCE CLUB-FRONT ROW: M.
