Culture Clubs Sponsor a Wide Area of Activities This year, in addition to their weekly meetings, the Czech Culture Club planned two community-centered field trips. In October they visited the Czech exhibition at the Lincoln Federal Savings and Loan Association, and in November they went to a folk fair. The club financed their activities with kolacky sales. The French Club celebrated French holidays in their traditional manner. Their fund raisers included a car wash, a splash party, and sales of candles, candy, and baked goods. They displayed some of their French culture and customs to the four other language clubs when they sponsored the annual Halloween, Christmas, Mardi Gras, and Easter parties with their sales profits.
