Savickas was in charge of the textbook library which supplied each student with the necessary books. Mr. G. Rohlicek headed the maintenance staff which cared for the grounds and the facilities of the building. Mr. A. Ochsner was responsible for the receiving room through which most supplies entered and were distributed. Not pictured is Mr. F. Petrdil, who served as ticket manager for Morton. Maintenance Staff Readies West For School, Community Activity Keeping a building the size of Morton West in proper functioning order is a difficult task indeed. However, the maintenance staff was able to meet this challenge and to do so well. The staff was responsible for maintaining the classrooms, halls, and offices in a clean condition, con- ducive to an educational atmosphere. They were also re- sponsible for the care of washrooms, locker-rooms, and the various athletic areas. ln addition to the many require- ments of the regular school day, the maintenance staff prepared all the school facilities necessary for eXtra-cur- ricular activities whether they involved student groups or organizations of the community.
