Secretaries Complement Faculty In Offices Throughout School The efficient functioning of any school requires a well- trained staff of secretaries, and Morton West is fortunate to have just that. The women in the main office have many duties including helping the principal and assistant princi- pal, keeping student records, and answering the switch- board. Those in the registration office are in charge of registering students for both semesters and recording grades. Other secretaries in the main office assist the deans in keeping attendance records and helping students. In addition many women work in departmental offices located throughout the building to assist the heads and faculty members of each department. TOP ROW: L. Kovar, R. Svoboda, S. Velat. BOTTOM ROW: E. They provided hot lunches in the two student cafe- terias and the teachers, cafeteria, as Well as offering many a la carte items. The staff was divided down into teams of nutritionists, stock clerks, and, of course, cooks. In ad- dition to providing food during the four lunch periods, these teams also prepared the cuisine for many of the numerous dinners given in the Morton West cafeteria by community and school organizations. For the International Banquet, the staff prepared dishes in the manner of the seven nationalities represented by the language clubs.
