TUMBLINC CLUB . .. Tumbling Club, which is composed of those girls who possess a definite interest in further developing their tumbling skills, had a productive year. Under the supervision of Miss E. L. Paolicchi, the girls continued to advance to more difficult techniques that many were incapable of accomplishing in September. This year the club gave a Christmas party for its members and, as in past years, honored its most exceptional tumblers at an awards banquet held in the spring. TOP ROW' B. Paul. THIRD ROW: L. SWIM CLUB The main highlight of the school year for the members of the Swim Club was the performance of their annual show. The days preceding the presentation, which this year was entitled Wet and Wild, were spent in learning and practicing the forms of aquatic art. The club leaders also encouraged members to attend workshops and to observe the techniques of other swim shows. Last fall those students who wished to oin the organization were required to demonstrate their ability in a test of basic swimming skills and fundamental stunts. Because of their conflicting practice sessions, football players were given the opportunity to be tested later in the school year. TOP ROW: I. Benes, C. Nadherny, D. Gilbert, S. Berger, I. Tejcek, K. TRACK AYDS . . . An important group of girls who during the past year assisted the judges in their officiating of track meets was the Track Aids. These aids helped by recording and typing up scores throughout the track season. The girls, presence at the meets also promoted more enthusiasm from the spectators and better morale for the team. An in- dividual Wishing to become an aid had to attend an inter- view and convince a committee that she intended to support the athletes. The club sponsored a bake sale and organized an outing for the boys and the aids at the close of the year in recognition of a good season. WRESTLING AIDS .. . A club which was recently added to the list of organizations at Morton was the Wrestling Aids. After having officially received their charter from the MWSC, the girls promptly purchased uniforms which they hoped would create a feeling of unity among the members. For the home meets, the club's responsibility was to time and score and to keep accurate records of each match. This year the only prerequisite for a girl wanting to become an aid was an avid interest in wrestling. In the spring the girls attended the wrestling banquet to share in the honors of the team that they had supported. TOP ROW: K. Cosentino, A. Klinka, D. Holt, G. Biedron. THIRD ROW: M. Rosinski, K.
