Starting oft against Riverside-Brookheld, the var- sity was edged 3-2. This seemed to spark the Mus- tangs as they shut out Leyden 5-O in the following match. The taste ot victory was short-lived, however, as Morton went down in defeat by the identical scores ot 5-O at the hands ot Evanston and Niles. Coming back strong the racketmen downed Elm- wood Park 4-l. This could have been the beginning of a winning streak, but the next tive meets were catastrophes. Not being able to score a point, the Mustangs tell betore Highland Park, Proviso, Oak Park, New Trier, and Waukegan by the humble scores ot 5-O. This made the tinal record 2-8. Good form and co-ordination are exhibited in this backhand ghgf O
