Tne tact that some students tind mathe- fnatiiis uninteresting is an unbeliex able one. l-lowexer the growing membership ot the Math Club shows that this con- dition is not the overall picture. The students eniox working with the theorems and tormulas which provide them with a great deal ot mental exercise. lt is a tact that such mental gxm- OSSTICS help a person to become a quick thinker. The members find a real challenge in an unsolved problem and cannot rest until it is solved. The main ex ent ot the Math Club is the prepara- tion tor participation in the nation-wide math contest, This test is very ditticult and requires a great deal ot stqdx. The students are given a great deal ot eniovment along with education be- cause ot the excellence with which their adxisor, Mr, Cherrx teaches them.
