Through them the student is shown the higher realms of living, and it is they who direct him to the path which leads to the ultimate goal. Without teachers, the hopes for the future would have little meaning, for what good is a dream without knowing the means by which to accomplish it? It is our faculty who provide this means. PgQ8

l l i l The student supply store at Morton East was moved from room 355 to the cafeteria for the convenience of the students who are now able to obtain supplies during their lunch hour. With the addition ot anything new to something old, side eftects are bound to come. The east branch of J.S.lVl. was no exception to this rule. From the change in the double shift schedule to the better, more efticient stand- ard program tothe addition ot milk lines in the cafeteria, the changes usually were for the benefit of the student and were readily accepted as such. By and large, how- ever, tested and true student traditions were kept and lite went on at Morton East as it did before the changes were made. The deans issue admittance slips to students absent the previous day. Page 27 wad- Another new feature in the cat at east to improve effia ciency is the set-up ot milk lines in various sections to take the load oft the hot food lines.
