His spirit of kindness and under- standing has gained for him the respect of teachers and students alike. I-le should be given much credit for the superior manner in which he is filling the difficult position as Acting Superintendent of Morton High School. Page 9

OTTO OPLATKA The Board of Education is composed of seven citizens elected by the people of our school district. Constantly having our welfare in mind, the Board passes upon purchases of supplies for the school and recommendations for teachers and other members of the staff. They see that the budget is prepared and levies are made. Although they seldom have any personal contact with the school, they render a great service to it. - Page 8
