fhere are llther Languages Besides Bnhemlan FRENCH CLUB . . . Vive La Langue Franciseln HHi Frenchie! The cul- ture, as well as the French language, is studied and promoted by this club. It sponsors trips around the Chicago area to various places of interest dealing with France and studies French operas and the works of French artists. The club also engages in activities in France by their sponsoring of a small primary school and the sending of packages to the needy of France. lf you are a French student, you are eligible to join this club which is advised by Miss M. Blair. SPANISH CLUB . . . f-'Como esta Ud.?-- -Muy bien, gracias.-1 Atten- tion all senors and senoritas! This club is open to any student who is interested in Spanish ideas, They need not speak Spanish or be attending a Spanish class. The club enrolls those who want to become familiar with the customs and cule ture of Spain and who wish to get acquainted with other Spanish-minded stu- dents. If you are slightly South of the border, get in touch with Miss C. P. Apeland, the advisor of the group. 25

Supporting t H Students and he Team BOOSTER CLUB . . . Service, sell- ing, sponsoring, and more service. If your sweet tooth is satished by the candy that is sold at the games, you can thank the busy members of this club. Other things besides candy are also sold. These include flowers, pins, beanies, and what have you. Many school functions are sponsored by these Booster Bees . An example of their sponsorship is the Sport Banquet. Very general assistance is given to any other club or plan that needs it. lust mention that a worthy project is seeking help, and you will find a helping hand ex- tended to you. The cooperative advisor is Mr. Kohout.

The Hilzliur Stick is nut mauled MORTON WRITERS' CLUB . . . Like to put what you're thinking into picturesque words on paper? Then the Morton Writers' Club will welcome you to its group. The purpose of this club is to offer an audience of sympathetic listeners for the student writer and to encourage the development of a critical mind. Miss M. A. Diez advises. READING CLUB . . . A'Far Away Places With Strange Sounding Names Visit them all through books. The purpose of this club is to share the enjoy- ment of reading with others and to broaden acquaintances with books and their authors-old and new. Miss A. Svrchek advises the club which is open to any- one who enjoys reading. av 26
