What They Will, They lln J 4 f Lgggbl MORTON SENIOR COUNCIL . . . A plea for service! Take it to the Morton Senior Council! They'll help. This hard-working service club is made up of junior and senior boys who number no more than 60. These boys, always handy and willing where work is required, promote the annual Father and Son Banquet, usher at all assemblies, Baccalaureate, Graduation, open house, com- munity chest show, and the senior play. Besides all these activities, the indus- trious lads find time to serve at all banquets twithout spilling the gravy, of course.l They try hard to create a friendly feeling among the masculine popu- lation of Morton and to promote school welfare. The boys also try to create, maintain, and extend high standards of Christian character throughout the school and community. Mr. H. L. Meeker directs the club, 22

The Seek Pleasure Illuietl CHESS AND CHECKERS . . . Did you ever become so interested while watching a chess or checker game that you couldn't take your eyes from the board? Then you should be in this club. lts principal aims are to afford a leisure time activity in school, to prepare students to enjoy chess and checkers as a hobby, and to provide a means of competition -- both intra-mural and interscholastic. All students are eligible to enjoy the activities which include tournaments in school, inter-school meets planned for spring, and lessons in both chess and checkers. Mr. C. L. Prazek keeps a watchful eye over the group. STAMP CLUB . . . Whether you have a rare collection, a boxful of odds and ends, or are just interested in starting a collection, you're eligible for this club. Its weekly meetings are devoted to selling, buying, trading, or just plain talking about stamps. Mr. I. C.
