1 1 J ,KJ- x fxj X1 Superin dent For the past ten years Mr. W. P. MacLean has admirably fulfilled his position as superintendent here at Mor- ton. He has always taken an active part in student activities, and has al- ways been eager to help the students in every way possible. His conscientious work has aided in maintaining the schools high standard, and his friendliness and willingness to co-operate and give advice has made Mr. MacLean a good friend of the student body. The Superintendenfs Aids, elected by the student body, have again proved capable in their job of keeping the administration informed of the many needs and problems of the students. This group was organized in an endeavor to obtain greater student par- ticipation in school affairs. 9

Mr. Charles Matt The group that is the contact between our school and the community is the Board of Education of District 201. These five men, in cooperation with the superintendent and his assistants, help direct and carry out the activities and the educational opportunities of the school. The excellent services ren- dered by these men are sincerely appreciated by the student body. 8 we

Administration ills MR. ALLEN R. MOORE MR. E. BLAIR MR. E. W. GREEN ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT: Mr. Moore is in charge of curriculum, instruction, and guidance of the school personnel. In addition to these things Mr. Moore, who is also sponsor of the Hall and Dining Room Committee of the M.S.G.A., has assisted in the plan- ning of the new arrangement that is now in operation in the cafeteria. BUSINESS MANAGER: This year the position of business manager is admirably filled by Mr. E. Blair who is a newcomer at Morton. Among some of the duties of Mr. Blair is the handling of finances and the buying of equipment necessary for the high school and college departments. The cafeteria, book store, and building and grounds are some of the things that are also under his supervision. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS: Pop Green, well-known director of Public Relations and school publicity, can also take credit for being chairman of the assembly and auditorium committees, director of Morton's radio program, and chief counsellor for the sen- ior boys. With all these duties, HPop still has time to spend a few more minutes with any- one who needs his help. 10
