This annual is not the result of a few week's work. It took thought and purpose and plan to make this book--and time too. Over a year ago the plans were laid: over a year ago some men and women of the faculty began developing these plans, The purpose had to be held in mind at every turn. One by one, teachers and pupils were drawn into the organization: and always with the same plan and always with the same purpose the work was laid out and the tasks were done. At last, the finished book is here. What l will, l can pervades the pages of this book. This same spirit should be in every true Morton student. whether he tackles a trival task or whether he faces his life work. A purpose, a plan. and a will to drive straight through to the goal 'it isthese that have gone into the making of this annul.
