Even though the Indians started the season with a loss to Chilhowie 26-7, they made a quick comeback with four straight wins, beating Appalachia 15-14, Castlewood 48-22, Coeburn 14-6 and Powell Valley 35-7. The game with Clintwood was a disappointment when a hard-fought battle ended in a 7-0 victory for the Green Waves. With spirits down, the Indians again lost to Pound by only one point in a 23-22 game. However, the team rallied and won the last three games, defeating Lebanon 19-15, Ervinton 20-6 and Burton 27-14. 4 : ons Ie : - os oe Pee XS 51 Russell Kiser Eddie Harris John Duffy Joe Roberts Jeff Gardner Ronnie Stallard ''Packer'' Bill Rainey Rod Tiller David Sanders Scott Morgan Todd Moore Greg Carter Phillip Stallard Randy Kilgore Stan Cress John Minor Scott Bays John Addison Brent West 54 Coaching Staff and Managers BOTTOM: Coaches Robbie Stinson, Jigger Bradley, Jim Daugherty and Bobby Bates.
