French Students Tour Europe During Summer Vacation The group flew to Paris with Mr. Gilliam and spent a few days seeing the City of Light-strolling the Champs Elysee, cruising the Seine, eating es- cargots, sampling French pasteries, and climbing the Eiffel Tower. Afterward they enjoyed a stay on the Riviera and visited Rome, Florence, and Venice in Italy . In central Europe, they stayed in Austria, Switz- erland, Germany, and Holland. Aft er a few days in England, where they visited Shakespeare’s birth- place at Stratford-on-Avon and a real lived-in cas- tle, the group flew back to the U.S. from London. Vive les vacances ! All Work! . . . And No Play? Kelly Students Enjoy Keeping Busy With Activities Such As the Junior-Senior Prom, Home- coming Floats, Serving Ban- quets, Working in the Conces- sion Stand, Doing Plays and Assembly Programs, Making Posters, and Helping With Club Activities. One of the major activities of the junior class is present- ing an exciting prom for the seniors. Pictured on the opposite page are students decorating for the tropical theme of Bali Hai.
