Miss Kelly High Alice Kilgore Alice Kilgore was chosen Miss Kelly High of the Class of 71. She lives in Wise near Kelly High School with her par- ents. She comes from a family of three children, an older sister and a younger brother. Her course of study was con- centrated on business to prepare for office work as a career. Alice’s main interest in school has been sports, especially activities supporting the athletic teams. She has been a member of several clubs. She belonged to the F.H.A. for three years and served as secretary for one year; a member of the Glee Club for one year; and a member of the D.E. Club for one year, in which she also served as secretary. In her junior year, she worked with the prom committee, and she was a member of the Homecoming Court this past fall. After graduation Alice plans to marry and to work in an office. How does she feel about being chosen Miss KHS? “Surprised and happy”! Mr. Kelly High Anthony Scott Anthony Scott lives at West Norton with his mother. He is the youngest of a family of eleven, which consists of nine boys and two girls. He has worked in the college preparation course of study in high school. One of Tony’s main interests at Kelly has been the D.E. class in which he has spent part time working at Hatcher’s in Norton. He also enjoys working with his fellow students, especially in clubs. Tony has been elected homeroom president for the last four years, reporter for the D.E. Club, a member of the prom committee, and student-in-charge of school picture sales. He has also worked hard to raise funds for the D.E. Club. When he was asked what he liked best at Kelly, Tony said he appreciated the good friends he had made here, and that he got along well with all the teachers. He especially enjoyed Mrs. Dingus’s junior homeroom. Tony plans to attend C.V.C., major in business, and work toward a career in the business world after college.
