In planning schedules with the guidance staff, ninth graders choose from electives such as geography, Algebra I, general business, and language; they must take English, science, and physical education. In the field of sports, freshmen go out for J.V. football and basketball; and a few are members of the track and baseball teams. 100 Sandra Adair Carol Adams Larry Adams James Baird Elizabeth Barnette Charles Bateman Ruth Bays Jennifer Belcher Cecil Bennett Pamela Bennett Debra Beverly Elizabeth Beverly Ruth Blankenbechler Claudetta Blanton Veta Boggs Teddy Bolling Peggy Breeding Sue Brickey Ninth Graders Leave Basement For Classes On Second And Third Floors Patricha Brooks John Brummette Connie Burgess John W. The 1969 eighth graders make up a total of 207 students. Each one making his or her contribution on their way to becoming the Seniors of ’73. The new eighth graders were greeted with such experiences as jammed lockers, new rules, and most of all, more responsibility. In view of these things, we the Senior Class of 1969 feel that the eighth graders have done a fine job of making their adjustment and making this a better year for Kelly High. The eighth grade class sponsors are Mrs. Catherine David, Miss Sandra Whitt, Mr. Dale Rose, Mr. Larry Stanley, Mr. James Stewart, Mrs. Betty Wells, and Mr. Fred Walton. 105 Kathy Adams Mike Addington Tim Addington Larry Adkins Paula Adkins David Allio Karen Anderson Thomas Anderson Sarah Asbury Donald Asians Joe Baker Steve Bates O.
