KELLY HIGH SCHOOL FOREWORD We, the Arrowhead Staff and Senior Class present to you die 1958 Arrowhead. Through the busy hands of the staff and sponsors and the kind co-operation of teachers, it is possible to bring you this annual, which will be your book of memories in years to come. The Arrowhead is a treasure because it will keep each of us alive in our hearts in future years and will remind us of all the rich and lasting experiences we gained from going to J. J. Kelly High School. We, the Senior Class of 1958, proudly dedicate this publication of the Arrowhead to Miss Vert a Hamilton. Her pleasing personality, her willing- ness to help, and her interest in all students, and student activities will make her remembered by each mem- ber of the Senior Class. D E D I C A T I O N We also dedicate the Arrowhead to Mrs. RuthKaylor. Her friendly smile, her wonderful way of making classes more enjoyable and her interest in others will remind us of our many en- joyable days in her classes. MR. L. F. ADDINGTON Mr. Addington admires a patch of ginseng. PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE It is oftentimes thought by many people that he who accumulates wealth in earthly goods is the successful person; they are mistaken. The successful person is he who through his creative abilities contributes to the welfare of the many, either by creating a new poppy, a good poem, a story, music, art; or, he who gives his talents for the welfare of others through the channels of education, medicine, the ministry; or to him who just uses his abilities, whatever they may be, to the good of others.
