Wffgjjibaff , , 7 V7 .Q WIIDOAT '67 I. F. Webb High School 0xford. North Caroline Volume IV 1.1-Q...-.q Foreword Life in J.F. Webb High is at times complicated and mysterious, however, with each passing moment, a new knowledge is revealed to some student, and an entirely new world begins its birth. There are times that many of us feel in a sense like 'ISpies,v because there are so many things that we do not understand. It then becomes necessary for us to move discretely about in search for an answer to our questions. Unless we do inquire from teacher to teacher to gain this intelligence, we will falter in chaos as do captured spies. Let us strive onward and thus undo compli- cations and solve the mysteries that so easily torment our minds. Having worked so closely with our patient advisor, Mrs. Kay Slaughter and the elected officers and staff members, I am fully aware of the fact that they hope the Wildcat '67 will be one that you will be proud to possess. I extend to them my deepest and most humble gratitude for a job well done. At this point I proudly release to the waiting hands of students and faculty of IF. Webb High School, your HWILDCAT ,67. I27 3 Dedicafion To one who has guided and directed students as a sincere friend, respected teacher, and loyal counselor since the beginning of J.F. Webb High School, we dedicate this annual. It is because of her devotion to her profession that students reach future success. She is one whose tireless energy and enthusi- asm inspires the same qual- ities in her students. Besides the many hours of enriching the minds of students in the classroom, she works dili- gently on the Junior-Senior Prom to make it unforget- table for everyone. Because of the time and effort given, she will be forever cherished in student memories which she colors so vividly. In deep appreciation for her valuable services, the Wild- cat Staff dedicates the nine- teen hundred and sixty-seven Wildcat to MISS LORENA AVERETT. no mort' USlN6 L 4 Adminisfrafion f 7 4 ,,., , ,fs ,.,,,, Q , ,, it 5, 1 ? 3 Mr. L.C.
