Steve Emmerson, Joline Loenser, Jay Penney, Mary Ann Blaser, Jon Gentry, Shelly McAvoy, Vicki Kroener,Rick Penney 1969 king and queen, Bob Orsi and Kris Hanford crowning the new royalty Homecoming, 1970 was held the week of Octo- ber 23. The festivities began on Thursday with the annual Snake Dance beginning in Rink's parking lot and ending at the football field for a pep rally. On Friday the Geneseo Green Machine defeated Rock Falls 30-6 and clinched the NCIC conference championship. The results of the float sweepstakes were that the juniors won with De-Feet 'Ernf' Honorable mention for sweepstakes award went to the sophomores for Looks Like We'll Dunk 'Em Donut? Most Beautiful was captured by the fresh- man for 'QThey Tried But They Couldn't Do It. Most Original went to GAA for Swat 'Em Down. On Saturday Jon Gentry and Mary Ann Blaser were crowned King and Queen, Rick Penney and Vicki Kroener were crowned Duke and Duchess and Steve Emmerson and Joline Loenser became Lord and Lady. The flower girl and boy were Jay Penney and Shelly McAvoy. Music was provided by Puff 'n' Stuff 27

Prom 1970 Highlighted with Bridge Over Troubled Wcitersi' Theme The Prom of 1970 was a great success with its theme Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Shades of blue and a realistic bridge turned the gym into a bright and happy atmosphere. Several members of the sophomore class served refreshments.
