'av ff 00 G65 Senior Gloss Ploy Our 'I'own, written by Thornton Wilder, was produced November fourteenth and fifteenth in the high school gymnasium. The play is of great uniqueness because of no scenery, only a few proper- ties. The first act, a general outline of the history of the town, Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, told about the character of the citizens, the Gibbs and Webb families, beginning at breakfast and go- ing through one entire day in the lives of these good people. The second act Concerned the love af- fair of young George Gibbs and Emily Webb, and finally the moving wedding scene. In the third and final act the audience was led to a cemetery on the hill, where the townspeople were patiently await- ing, not judgment but greater understanding. ln Came the bride who wished to live again with her memories.
