While serving the school and community this year, the girls of TRI-Hl-Y were busy working with with ALSAC, Project Touch, the T.B. center, the March of Dimes, cleaning the parking lot after the football games, making Halloween favors for the children at Fairfax Hospital, cleaning up the smoking area, having the bon fire after the Raiders Ral and many other projects. Between these ser- vice projects we still had time for dinners, parties, teas, slumber parties and getting together with our fantastic brother club HI-Y. Combining service and fun enabled us to form a close bond of sistership that will last forever. Being known as one of the best service clubs in the school gave us a year to be proud of! HHIZHUODS Org 2 22 y ' .fi Hi-Y's Fearsome Foursome Hi-Y as usual, has had another successful year. For the first time in 14 years, Hi-Y received its highest honor, the Ace Award. We contributed abundantly to the school's spirit by devoting an entire day to annual Hi-Y Raiders' Ral and Cheer- leader Appreciation Day. Among other things, we sold pumpkins for the YMCA, collected for ALSAC, painted the football benches, played basketballlgames with other clubs, and emerged as service club football champs for the second year in a row. Finally, we sponsored 'the ,Hi-Y Basketball Marathon playing for fifty hours straight in a effort to raise money for charity. All in all, it was truly a Hi-Y year. - Father Roth.
