-f X 'I Q X Admin Admin Admin IWO's X Division is composed of over 30 trained yeomen, personnelmen, postal clerks, draftsmen and lithographers. These men keep the necessary red tape flowing in order that the ship can carry out her mission. Every man aboard IWO is in contact with this division in one way or another through its many services: Admin Office, Personnel Office, Print Shop, Drafting Shop, Post Office, Legal Office, MDC, Career Counselor, Nlaster-at-Arms, Photo Lab, Chaplains Office, Library, and Public Affairs. Included in the Admin Department is Combat Cargo -a handful of men given a tough job. Handling cargo, loading helos with supplies or men, offloading equipment, combat cargo often worked round the clock accomplishing the dirtyjobs that had to be done. They became experts at connecting external supply loads to the belly of hovering helos, storing ammuni- tion and other supplies aboard ship, utilizing the mini- mum amount of space to store the maximum amount of cargo and acting as flight deck guides in loading Marine troops aboard the assault helos. 23
