Many of us will never forget the jeepney drivers who would careen through the unpaved streets like madmen while taking you to any bar you preferred. Or the shoeshine boys at every corner who would put the same que ' i nna shine, joe'? . And last, but far from least, the girls. Those little, brown, almond-eyed Filipinas. Subic Bay was to be our home port stion to all of us, wa for the entire cruise. We were to enter and leave the familiar bay many times ,,,. ..... before departing for good on the 29th of 4 ..- Mareh.
