The trickle sang down the mountain side. Soon the voice was joined by more voices until they made a stream. Single voices were lost in a choir, but each trickle was important. From a stream a river formed and slid out of the mountains onto the plains. lt went at its own leisurely pace but was still beating the winds. Soon the river approached the sea. As the river joined countless other rivers an entire orchestra was formed. The music was heard by everyone but no one knew it started with a single, small weak voice. janice Spicola 116-EXPRESSIONS Photo by Kurt Clements :J -5 yi -f:,' 55 ' ' :.'s:i :Sli .sts , 1: Photographer Unknown 1 'st gQ' N I. Tom Hershfeldt SENIORS-179 When I was one, it was my parents dream - my future. And when I turned three, it became a fantasy place, full of robots and green people with antennas, In kindergarten, it seemed to be the ultimate world, big and threatening. Elementary school was a problem in itself with new friends and impossible 'fhomework - spelling. When I became a teenager, I realized for the first time that it was my symbol, my year. Darren Hessheimer Henry Hinkle Qi, Daniel Hinton jean Holm jim Hovorka , , i , . Kevin jacobs Norman jennings jamie johnson . At sweet sixteen, it was my badge and it bound me to others N I - to my class. Now I am eighteen, and 1981 is no longer my future - it is the present. No longer fantasy, but reality, still threatening. All too soon, no homework - just work. But still I can claim it as my year, my class . . . and a memory to last forever. ..,. 3 .
