--. uh - -...,,,MmMN LEAGUE RECORD J .V. won-lost 11 - 5 VARSITY won:-lost '12 - 4 W-wt.. VOLLEYBALL 1976- 77 Miss personality, that was her name. Always smiling and joking before every game. But when that first serve was coming her way, l've got it! she'd yell and make a great play. And after the game and our team had just won, Terri would just be herself a whole lot of fun. Rosie, oh Rosie, This is the gal. Because of her coolness was everyone's pal. When her teammates would move in a spot that she'd like, then Rosie would set them up for that perfect spike. With a feathery touch from that gifted lass. The point we just scored came from that pinpoint pass. D'Ann was my favorite, so small and petite when roaming the court she was hard to beat. Glaring down her opponents, her eyes wouldn't flinch this proud little peacock not budging an inch. Then comes the time when you need that big play, Kim soared high above them and again saved the day! Now Sue is the player with style and with grace. she was the team leader, always setting the pace. She would float in the air like a bird in flight, and with one mighty spike, it was really some sight! Her athletic ability was her greatest asset, Made the game look easy, she's hard to forget. Defense is said to be the name of the game, the way Martha plays, it will bring her fame. She would block a shot when we thought we were defeated then spike right back, and make the other team eat it! There comes a time when you have to admit, the girls that add glamour and make a big hit. My pick for that honor Miss Heim and Miss Nish, to achieve their good looks should be every girls wish. With Marla the jumper and Debbie the setter, when they go out there there's not many better. And lo and behold they still have one more year, to drive the other's crazy and make Ranum cheer. Last but not least let us not forget, Brenda and Julie, Approaching the net, Brenda was always there to make the set, Julie leaping and jumping and spiking with ease, even though, they were quiet they seemed easy to please. -C.
