The day of Homecoming arrived bring- ing the Fiowdie Atmosphere up for the days events. After the raid on the Sophomore float, the five finger discount on napkins, and the watering of the football field, everyone was definitely ready for the big day. The enthusiasm of the Pep Assembly early in the morning carried the Juniors on to victory in the Powder Puff game. The Qgniors had no excuse because the field the best of condition. The Parade ended at Fianum with a lot of enthusiasm which carried on throughout the game. The day proved to be successful demonstrated by a 34-O romp over Adams City. The faculty proved to be the only failure to the Homecoming events by losing to the KHOW D'Jays with a score of 34-14. The Homecoming events ended with a dance in the Fianum Cafeteria crowning Homecoming Ftoyalty, and featuring the sounds of Home Brew.

I TORY 3410 tiff The excitement of the homecoming day events, climaxed Friday evening, at District 50 stadium. The all important event of the day was achieved with a Raider victory over Adams City. Receiving the kickoff during the open- ing moments of the first quarter, Ranum proceeded to march down the field, mark- ing off the first 7 points of the game. After that the Eagles lost most of their high- spirited momentum, as the Mighty Green Machine proceeded to extend their over powering lead to 23-zip towards a possible shutout to end the half. The Rowdy Raiders continued to dominate the game by adding the final two touchdowns, bringing the score to a victorious 34-0.
