Changes are being made here. Some little changes, some big changes. We attend frequent, worthwhile assemblies according to an efficient system of seating and passing. Our lunch shifts are organized so that we don't have to stand in interminable lines. Students may apply for unsupervised honors study halls. A new feeling of efficiency and progress is present. Curriculum advances and modern teaching methods are tangible evidence of positive action. Faculty-student discussion of problems and possibilities produce ideas, projects and understanding. We take interest now. When we have a thought or suggestion aboutashorter schoolday or a new club, we try to carry it through. Ifa single source of thechanges can be named, that source is Dr. Graves. He invites progress, whether in a small adjustment or a major plan. He encourages our propositions and listens to our complaints. We feel free to stop him inthehallorvisithim in his office. By depending on us, he makes us dependable. Byasking for initiative, he makes us creative. With this dedication, we thank him.
